01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled charmingly along the scenic Quai de la Sinse in Toulon, La Lampa is a delightful fusion of French brasserie elegance and the vibrant zest of a pizza restaurant. This inviting spot serves up a diverse menu that effortlessly balances classic French flavors with comforting Italian favorites, all within an atmosphere that captures the tranquil seaside charm of the harbor.

La Lampa’s culinary offerings shine through its skillful pasta selections—imagine twirling linguines drenched in creamy carbonara sauce, enriched with smoky lardons, sweet onions, and a luscious egg yolk lending a silky finish for €16.50. For a woodland escape on your plate, the linguines with fresh cèpes mushrooms and shallots in a velvety cream base at €15.00 beckon with earthy aromas and delicate textures. Those with a penchant for bold cheese will relish the Roquefort linguines, where the sharp, tangy richness of the cheese melds beautifully with the smooth cream, offering an indulgent €15.00 treat.

For families dining with little ones, the thoughtfully crafted menu enfant is a comforting choice at €11.00, pairing a child’s favorite—be it pizza cheese, nuggets, or a juicy steak haché with homemade fries—alongside a refreshing sirop and a scoop of ice cream for a sweet finish. It’s a menu designed to please both young palates and parents looking for quality and value.

The beverage list is equally impressive, with expertly mixed cocktails that complement the fresh coastal ambiance. Sip a Mojito bursting with minty freshness and a zesty lime kick or enjoy the sun-kissed warmth of a Tequila Sunrise, each priced affordably at €10.50. Whether you're in the mood for the classic Cuba Libre or a refreshing Gin Fizz, La Lampa’s cocktail menu offers a vibrant palette to elevate your dining experience overlooking the harbor’s gentle waves.

What truly sets La Lampa apart is its prime location next to Toulon’s passenger terminal, making it a welcoming oasis for cruise passengers and locals alike. The blend of lively yet relaxed seaside views with attentive and efficient service creates an inviting spot to unwind, no matter the time of day. Guests consistently praise the restaurant’s ability to open early for breakfast, the sincere hospitality, and the honest—yet refined—cuisine that never disappoints.

Whether you’re seeking a leisurely lunch by the water, a cozy dinner accompanied by fine wine and fresh fish, or a quick yet satisfying bite before boarding your cruise, La Lampa’s warm atmosphere and thoughtfully curated menu promise a memorable taste of Toulon’s vibrant culinary scene. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience that dance delicately between the flavors of France and the Mediterranean coast.

Great little place, located right next to the passenger terminal entrance for Toulon Port. We had food and drinks which were great and reasonably priced. Service was excellent.

It was one of the few restaurants opened very early for breakfast. Bread was okay but appreciated the effort opening early for cruise tourists.

I liked that I could actually get a meal at 3:00 p.m. I've been to a lot of restaurants, but because I'm diabetic I find it hard to find a place to eat that is worth the price. This place was great. I went down the entire quayside looking at the menus of all the restaurants. This was the last one, and thankfully it had the best menu. It's hard to dislike the atmosphere at the quai. And the people were kind and there was actually a server who spoke English perfectly. I can speak enough French to survive, but if you're going to speak English I am very much going to advantage of it. I ordered the big salad with the tuna, thinking that it would just be canned tuna mixed in with some salad fixings. You should have seen the look on my face when the perfectly cooked tuna steak arrived on top of a bed of fabulously fresh vegetables, and some other little fish. I was only able to eat half of it and I took the other half home. For 25 Euros I got that and a latte. I'll be back.

A lovely restaurant at the seaside, view to the harbor. Fresh wild fish, an awesome typical Aioli, and a fine wine selection. Great price-quality equilibrium, with a nice atmosphere. A simple, honest restaurant that never ever had failed us!

Nice place to sit, and have a nice bite to eat, sitting on the waterfront next to the marina. Little pricey but it has a great selection and high quality dishes with great presentation. Would come back for sure.

A good restaurant with variety of sea food menus The food was pretty good and the portions were very generous For starters we took the Frito Misto, it was very tasty, crispy and freshly made and their Unique Aioli sauce was out of the world I took Grilled Octopus and it was decent, very hard to chew and the portion was very big that i couldn't finish it. My cousions took the mussels " Moules " and it was very well prepared and fresh The service was a bit long because there was only 1 waiter. Other than that it was a nice experience
